Dynetics' in-plant FLASH system enables vehicle electronic modules to be programmed just-in-time prior to their installation in a vehicle at the assembly plant. The main benefits of this system are reducing part count (often times to one) thereby simplifying the material handling requirements at the assembly plant and facilitating the release of new software from engineering without making obsolete the controllers in stock.
